Women, and those assigned female at birth who experience menstruation, spend around fifty years of their lives in some form of cycle connected to their reproductive hormones, from the onset of puberty at around 11 years of age, to the post-menopause adjustments through the fifth and sixth decades.
With menstrual health impacting 51% of the population directly and touching the lives of everyone else indirectly, our mission is to foster understanding of and support for both the positives and the challenges, within organisations, across communities and in universities.
Our aim is to break down the barriers to talking about these often taboo topics
Through empathetically facilitated conversations, webinars and talks, we help you understand the journey from the onset of periods to post-menopause, considering them as the bookends of the female hormone cycle. Our aim is to break down the barriers to talking about these often taboo topics, and to lay the foundations for a supportive environment.
Our discussions cover a spectrum of topics, ranging from the fundamentals of menstruation to the complexities of menopause. We delve into crucial aspects such as endometriosis, PCOS, fertility, complex pregnancies and postpartum impacts. Recognizing that menstrual health is not solely a physical experience, we also address the profound mental health impact associated with these life stages.
And these conversations are not just for women; they’re for everyone. Men, young people, and managers will benefit from understanding what is happening, both for themselves and so they can play a pivotal role
in supporting those around them.
And with the workplace being a significant part of life, we explore the potential impact on work to make high performance and the realization of full potential more accessible.
